Founder, Owner, Personal Trainer

Ryan is the Founder and Owner of Peak Fitness & Sports Training. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and holds a Master of Science Degree in Health & Exercise Science from Colorado State University. His current role as an entrepreneurial dad and husband has ignited his desire to help men and women lead themselves in fitness and self-care in order to show up with energy and focus inside of their own families and careers.

Ryan has been a trainer since 2007 and worked with competition S.W.A.T. teams preparing for the World S.W.A.T. Games, youth athletes, collegiate athletes, and corporate athletes. He has been a speaker at the State Conference for the NSCA and been featured on an industry leading podcast, The Physical Preparation Podcast with Mike Robertson. His articles have been published by industry-leading websites sites such as Stack.com, Bodybuilding.com, and Elitefts.com.

He is a father of 5 children (3 bonus kids and twins) and has a busy and fulfilling family life. He enjoys the dad role to a fault but has not traded in the Nikes for New Balances (yet). When possible he stays competitive with various strength sports but enjoys coaching people to find a fun outlet inside of the fitness space whether it's a run, strength sport or obstacle race.

As a competitive lifter, Ryan currently holds the state powerlifting record for total (1487 pounds) and the deadlift (655 pounds) in the 198-pound weight class. He was awarded the Best Lifter at the Raw Drug Tested State Championship in 2018. He has coached other lifters to multiple state records. He still loves to train like an athlete and tries to keep pace with the young athletes he trains!
